Joanne
Joanne is a founding partner at Spring Partners. Previously she was the CEO at blow LTD, the UK’s largest beauty services marketplace backed by Unilever Ventures and the founders of ASOS and Net-A-Porter. She also co-founded and ran a food marketplace start-up in 2015, raising capital from angel networks and FoM VC. Prior to joining the start-up, tech world Joanne was a consultant at Bain & Company from 2011-2014, where she worked across multiple sectors including private equity and biotech. She also helped launch and run the companies’ social business incubator offering strategic, consulting support to social enterprises and entrepreneurs.
In 2014 Joanne spent a year at Endeavor, the leading non-profit for global high impact entrepreneurship, supporting some of Colombia’s fastest growth tech scale up companies tackle commercial and strategic issues.
Joanne has an MA in Biological sciences from the University of Oxford.
Nicki
Nicola co-founded Spring Partners after various leadership roles scaling award-winning tech start-ups across multiple consumer industries, in businesses backed by Index Ventures, Octopus & Mustard Seed. Previously Nicola was the CEO of purpose driven D2C brand Beulah, COO of Swoon and Growth Lead at Graze.
Prior to this, Nicola spent 5 years at Bain & Company leading strategic growth and digital transformation projects in financial services, consumer retail and technology businesses. She also helped launch the companies’ leadership development programme and was heavily involved in Bain’s philanthropic activities and pro-bono work.
Nicola is an ambassador of Retail Week’s Be Inspired Leadership programme focused on developing future leaders and promoting diversity at work and is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
